Tim Ernandes
Tim began his radio career in college, while attending C.W. Post College on Long Island. Between his long hours at WCWP, the campus radio station, and the Post Theatre Company, Tim managed to squeeze in just enough class time to weasel out of school with his Bachelor's Degree in Communications.
Eventually, his work on Post Serial, a radio comedy program on WCWP, led Tim to launch a career as a writer and producer of radio commercials, with stops at WFMD/WFRE in Frederick, MD, WRCN in Riverhead, NY, and various engineering positions at RKO and NBC Radio Networks.
Although he pursued different career paths, including a 12 year stint with Trans World Airlines as a mechanic, and more recently, 7 years (and counting) as the lake's longest-serving computer tech, Tim never forgot his love of radio and the 'good old days'.
Now Tim anchors the morning show on WSLK, a station which was borne of his own desire to bring back a simpler, more enjoyable form of radio to those who remember it best.
