Search for the Scarecrow

The Smith Mountain Lake Retail Alliance's "Search for the Scarecrow" campaign isn't just a fun way to celebrate Halloween and the Fall Festival. It's a way for you to find bonuses at all participating merchants. Look for scarecrows outside member businesses, and then go inside and mention the scarecrow. The bonus varies, but all participating merchants will reward you for stopping in and commenting about the scarecrow.
