Although our station is much more than just music, part of our commitment to the community is a good, solid music format. We play the songs that most of our audience grew up listening to on their transistor radios, at home, in the car, and at the beach.

Much of this music has been forgotten over time, and even many 'oldies' stations don't play them any more. We do, and we do it without repeating songs over and over again.

We also try to pattern WSLK's total sound after the very stations on which the music was originally played, to enhance the enjoyment of the listener's experience.
